  1. What’s your athletic background? In high school, I played soccer and basketball and even did track as a sprinter for one season.

  2. When did you start working out at CrossFit Osiris? My introduction class was in November of 2021 and I have not stopped going since.

  3. What keeps you coming back? There are several reasons why I keep coming back but the main reason is the results I see and feel with my weight loss goals. The encouragement and support I get from the coaches and fellow athletes is also a big reason.

  4. If you could write the WOD, what would it be? I like fast paced weight lifting workouts with some cardio added. It’s a great feeling accomplishing something you never thought you could do.

  5. What are some of your goals, fitness or personal? My main goal is to lose weight to improve my health.

  6. List one or two improvements you have seen in your life since starting CrossFit. The biggest improvement I see and feel is the 25 pound weight loss so far. The second is that all my health stats have greatly improved.

  7. How do you like to spend your free time? LOL, I get asked this question many times as “question of the day” before workout starts and it is always the same, “hanging out at the coffee shop with friends” on the weekends.

  8. What’s your favorite cheat meal? Any kind of pasta meal is great but anything else not in my nutrition plan will do too. One time I made a beeline for Popeyes to get a chicken sandwich.

  9. What would you say to someone thinking about starting CrossFit? Make it happen. At first you might ask yourself, do I really belong in a Crossfit gym? I came up with all kinds of excuses to not do it but knew I needed to make a change. No matter your fitness level, you can do it and see results if you are consistent in addition to a good nutrition plan.

  10. Anything else you’d like to share about yourself? I have struggled with weight most of my life but I am glad I found a sustainable plan to reach my goal.

  11. How often do you attend? I attend Monday through Friday.

  12. What class do you typically attend? I attend the 5:30 or 6:30 PM class.
