You know when you see him walk into our noon class, he is going to challenge himself to lift heavier and move faster, all with a smile!

What’s your athletic background?

I have always been active with golf, baseball/softball, and motorsports, but I have been in and out of gyms and fitness programs since I was 19.

When did you start working out at CrossFit Osiris?

I think it was winter of 2019.

What keeps you coming back?

The changes that I’m seeing in my overall fitness and all the people. Seriously, there are so many cool people at this gym. Community/group workouts have worked great for me. Osiris is the best!

If you could write the WOD, what would it be?

It would be a chipper workout with some heavy barbell movement pulling from the floor, a cardio movement (I like the rower or bike), box jumps, and kettle bell work.

What are some of your goals, fitness or personal?

I would like to indefinitely maintain healthy movement at the highest level my body will allow. I would also love to travel to Switzerland in the next five years.

List one or two improvements you have seen in your life since starting CrossFit.

My whole-body strength is as high as it’s been since my early 20’s and I have cardio endurance to boot (kinda). I have also learned a lot about how to move, eat, and recover well.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I love golfing. My free time and vacations often revolve around that game. Otherwise, I love traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, and snowmobiling.

What’s your favorite cheat meal?

I love good food from all different cuisines so much.

What would you say to someone thinking about starting CrossFit?

Take a chance and try it out. There are so many ways to get what you need out of CrossFit programming.

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

The spotlight amplifies my social awkwardness so this whole deal makes me sweat a little bit. I once ate 3 Chipotle burritos in one sitting though.

How often do you attend?

The summer months get a little busy so I target 3-4 times a week; targeting 5 times per week in the fall and winter months.

What class do you typically attend?

I typically attend the noon class but I like to get to other classes whenever possible so I can see and meet more of you.
